Elite Baseball is proud to announce their college advisement and placement program. There is nothing more important than finding the right athletic and academic collegiate fit for your son. This process can be overwhelming and strenuous for both parents and sons. We will provide useful and productive information to help guide you and your son through this process.
In just over a year we have helped place over 25 student-athletes into college baseball programs. We have placed 100% of our clients into college. Throughout the placement process we will give you a variety of different college programs to choose from. We take pride in placing the student-athlete with the right academic and athletic fit.
STARTING THE PROCESS
The placement process ideally would start the summer before the player’s sophomore season, with emphasis to be placed on the summer prior to his junior year. The process of exposure for your son should start earlier rather than later so that the athlete will have a broader spectrum of choices and will allow plenty of time to make adjustments to find the right fit.
THE PROCESS
The main goal of Elite Baseball is to find the right fit between academics and athletics. This means that we will find the college where your son will excel in the classroom and on the playing field. Our company is goal oriented and will produce results. The steps toward placement include:
- Interview- This is the first step in understanding what the goals of the student-athlete and parents are. It is an opportunity for Elite Baseball to fully understand what the exact needs are for everyone involved in this process.
- Academic and Athletic Evaluation- We will need an unofficial transcript and an understanding of his athletic ability to start the process. We will include an athletic evaluation to fully grasp the player’s ability. This evaluation is a critical piece to the puzzle for us to be able to start the process.
- Evaluation Results- Once we receive the results any necessary changes that need to be made in the process can be made easily and quickly. If made early on this can help to expand college choices for the athlete.
- The List- We will help you draft an initial list of potential colleges that will fill both academic and athlete needs. Within this list we will also help to guide you to colleges that have a need for you as a player.
- Exposure- Through our extensive list of college contacts we will help you get the necessary exposure, to make the signing process as easy as possible. We will do this through showcases and our summer and fall programs.
- Advisement- We will guide you through the maze of rules and regulations of the various college associations (NCAA, NAIA, JUCO).
- Scholarships- We will offer advice for any academic, athletic, and financial aid money that may be available for the student-athlete.
- Follow-up Support- We will continue to consult and support the student-athlete throughout his college career. We pride ourselves on finding the right collegiate fit for each client.
We hope that this information has been useful to help you understand what our college advisement program can do for your son. If you have any additional questions we would be happy to further discuss your options to start the college advisement process. Below is a list of clients we have helped to place into college.
