Matt Werts
Matt is currently the co-owner of Elite Baseball. As a pitcher, he played collegiately for Belmont University in Tennessee and Millersville University. He also pitched for the Silver-Spring Takoma Thunderbolts, where he was a League All Star, and the Petersburg Generals, of the highly regarded Coastal Plain Collegiate League. Matt has served as an assistant coach and assistant recruiting coordinator for Silver-Spring Takoma of the Clark Griffith Collegiate League. He also has been a head coach of the Northwest Little League in Washington, D.C.
Matt Knox
Matt is currently the Co-Founder of Elite Baseball. Matt attended Millersville University from 1998-2001 where he holds single seasons records for most hits(80), RBI's(72), and HR's(14). Matt was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 13th round of the 2001 amatuer draft. In 2003 he was a Sally League All-Star while playing for the Class-A Lake County Captains. He once hit two Grand Slams in one game for the Captains. In 2004 he was converted to the mound as a relief pitcher. He won a Championship with the Mahoming Valley Scrappers of the New York Penn League while being their closer. Matt also played for the 2006 Championship team/Lancaster Barnstormers. Where he helped anchor and solidify the bullpen.
Brian McKenna
Brian is currently an instructor and coach for Elite Baseball. Brian is currently the assistant coach for the collegiate summer league Silver Spring-Takoma Thunderbolts and the Quince Orchard High School. A 2000 graduate of Watkins-Mill High Schol in Gaithersburg, Maryland, Brian was named 1st Team All-Mets as a high school senior. Brian committed to Towson University, where he was named to the Verizon Academic All-American team and was first team All-CAA. After Brian graduated from Towson University in 2004, he went on to play for the Evansville Otters of the Frontier League until 2006, where he had 15 home runs, along with 30 doubles 92 RBI's and 205 hits.
